ARC Review | Make Me Bad by R.S. Grey

MakeMeBadEbookCover About MAKE ME BAD

I was issued a warning: stay away from Ben Rosenberg.

As Clifton Cove’s resident “king”, he thinks he’s entitled to anyone and anything.

The trouble is, I’ve spent my whole life following the rules and playing it safe. I know what it feels like to be the good girl. I’m the police chief’s daughter and a librarian—for adorable children, no less. My wardrobe consists of colorful sundresses and baggy jeans. I might as well have a Post-it stuck to my forehead that reads: Yup, she’s a virgin.

An all-nighter with a fictional hunk is about as exciting as my life gets, until one day, fate decides to take pity on me and shove me straight into the path of Mr. Off-Limits himself.

Oof.

Just as I suspected, every inch of him promises to be my demise. Up close, he’s tall, menacing, dangerously handsome—the type of man who’s never spent a single moment worrying about the opinions of others. A well-behaved girl would do as she’s told and avoid him at all costs, but I’m overdue for a little rebellion.

No more Friday nights sprawled out on the couch in my comfiest pajamas. No more wishing I had the courage to misbehave.

Everyone thinks Ben is going to ruin me.

They think he’ll chew me up and spit me out.

Well, Ben…go ahead.

Tempt me. Taunt me.

Make me bad.

review

If you’ve been with me for quite some time now you already know that I consider R.S. Grey as one of my RomCom Queens. She’s really out there, writing romantic comedy novels oh so well and Make Me Bad’s certainly an addition to my top tier romcom favorites.

While R.S. Grey just keeps on getting better and better at cracking us up with the witty banters, funny situations her characters find themselves in, she’s also progressing in giving them depth. What makes this book mean so much more, for me, is because it delves more into Madison’s, our female lead character, self-exploration and how she learns to break-free from the pattern aka life. All of us could relate to that. Reading her story gave me such an exhilarating feeling; seeing how she’s getting to know more about herself, her wants and her preferences.

She soon learns that she can also be crazy and playful. Just like recruiting Ben Rosenberg, our resident hottie, to be in-charge of her Make Me Bad mission.

“Each day, I’d send another, until one day, finally, she’d have a full sentence: M-A-D-I-S-O-N H-A-R-T, I-M F-A-L-L-I-N-G F-O-R Y-O-U.” Hell-O swoon-worthy Ben Rosenberg. To be honest, he’s totally not what I expected him to be. I thought we would be all airy and kinda douche-y. No, he exceeded all that. Ben’s a sweet and supportive (supportive in her craziness) friend towards Madison. They got started with a such a crazy encounter but I adore the friendship that they were able to build from it. You gotta believe it when I say that these two are so cute.

And well, things are steamy between them. Given fact. Hohoho the guy definitely knows how to be naughty and nice which makes him the perfect one to navigate Madison towards her mission. The burn between them makes you look forward page after page…and the next thing you’ll know you’re already reading that epilogue, which is such a sweet deal! 😉

Make Me Bad is a complete knockout with its funny (a bit angsty) plot, witty and endearing characters and of course a slow burn romance that you’d love.

MAKE ME BAD IS NOW LIVE!!! Go purchase it on Amazon!!! Enjoy!!!
